We are seeking a NoVa/DC/MD-based professional to manage sales and market activities across the Mid-Atlantic. What We’re Looking For

  • Cultural fit with Dalla Terra. Over the last 35 years, we have built a strong and unique company culture representing some of Italy’s finest producers
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of Italian wine & spirits (Italian language a plus)
  • Natural curiosity and wide-ranging interests
  • Proven track record in distributor and account sales management
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with distributors, sales teams, and key accounts
  • In-depth knowledge of the assigned states including sales channels, distributors, accounts and opportunities
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Teams, Power BI, and distributor reporting tools
  • Skilled at analyzing sales data and turning insights into action

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with distributors in educating sales teams, promoting and selling our products in the market
  • Take pride being the face of Dalla Terra in the market
  • Support distributor sales teams through ride-withs, tastings, regular meetings and being accessible and responsive
  • Grow sales in key on- and off-premise accounts, including regional chains
  • Organize producer market visits and represent brands at trade events
  • Conduct sales & trade education to strengthen brand awareness
  • Stay up to date and share market intelligence as necessary
  • Work within provided budgets for pricing, samples, programming, and travel
  • Track and manage business against sales targets in assigned markets
  • Use sales data to help design programs that drive growth

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $75,000 – $90,000 commensurate with experience + performance-based bonus of up to $25,000
